Rachel Halmrast

Rachel Halmrast began their dance training in Seattle, WA. and hold a BFA in Dance from CU Boulder. Their first love was hip-hop! Additional training began at eXit SPACE School of Dance, where they were introduced to modern, jazz, ballet, musical theater, and contact improvisation.They have danced with choreographers Marlo Martin, Amy J Lambert, and Alicia Mullikin and Anna Paterson Dance Company in New York City. They returned to Boulder to pursue their own choreographic work, and in the last year have shown work with the Mariposa Collective, Viskosity Dance Collective, Colorado University. They currently teach contemporary floorwork at Mi Chantli Art & Movement Sanctuary, Boulder Ballet and spend their days working at The Dairy Arts Center as a member of the Patron Services team.

Rachel will teach Contemporary/Hip Hop to levels 2/4A
