LeXI EVANS
Lexi Evans grew up studying ballet at Pittsburgh Youth Ballet under Jean Gedeon, Melissa Allen-Bowman, Lindy Mandradjieff, and Steven and Lindsay Piper. At 16, she attended the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre under Damara Bennett, where she enjoyed performing and touring with the company. In 2008 Lexi joined the Israel Ballet where she spent three seasons, touring Austria, China, and the United States. Upon returning to the U.S. Lexi danced with the Sarasota Ballet, The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, and Boulder Ballet. Some of Lexi's favorite roles of her career include Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Demi-Soloist in Symphony in C, Russian Girls in Serenade, Flower Girls in Don Quixote, and Peasant Pas in Giselle. Lexi has been teaching ballet since 2008 and became a registered yoga teacher in 2013. She has taught, choreographed, and set repertoire for Boulder Ballet and Boulder Ballet School, along with other schools in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Colorado.
