PHILIP PEREZ

Philip Gabriel Perez was born in Colombia and raised in NYC. At age seven, he began classes at The JKO School of ABT under Franco De Vita and Raymond Lukens. In 2010, Alexei Ratmansky cast him as the Young Prince in ABT’s new production of The Nutcracker, reprising this role for three years. He then trained at Boston Ballet School under Peter Stark and Margaret Tracey; followed by Nashville Ballet II and Colorado Ballet’s Studio Company.

At Miami IBC 2019, he was awarded the silver medal. His diverse repertoire includes works by Balanchine, Tudor, Tharp, Wheeldon, Taylor, Caniparoli, Seiwert, and more. Dedicated to sharing the art form, Philip is an ABT NTC certified teacher, studied dance technology at Jacob’s Pillow, and frequently appears as a guest artist across the country.

Philip joined Boulder Ballet in 2018.
