ADAPTIVE DANCE CLASSES

Adaptive Dance Classes at

Boulder Ballet Dance and WellSpace

Fall Session starts September 13th – November 15th, 2026

Spring Session starts January 10th – March 14th, 2027

Classes are from 2:30-3:30 PM

Boulder Ballet partners with medical volunteers to offer a supervised Adaptive Dance program designed for youth with cognitive and physical challenges.

Our Adaptive Dance classes are for all bodies and offer space for up to 10 special needs students. We explore movement from ballet, creative movement, and jazz. Our students perform to their abilities and enjoy the physical and emotional freedom that comes from movement and music. Students will have the opportunity to develop skills such as motor skills, coordination, balance, and socialization.

Physicians and instructors assist the students in each class. Adaptive Dance classes take place in the studios in the Boulder Ballet Dance and WellSpace, 1810 30th St, Boulder.

STUDENT REGISTRATION
Boulder Ballet is able to offer these classes at no cost through a generous grant from the Boulder Arts Commission.  There is a $45 registration fee for this program.  Pay registration here.

Financial assistance is available for those in need, contact Beth@boulderballet.org
