Emma Michaux is a Colorado-based ballet dancer. Emma has performed works including Christopher Wheeldon’s The American and 5 Movements 3 Repeats, Amy Seiwert’s The Devil Ties My Tongue, and Airs by Paul Taylor. In addition, she has premiered roles in works by Caili Quan, Amy Hall-Garner, Sidra Bell, Gregory Dawson, and Makino Hayashi. Some classical highlights include Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the Sugarplum Fairy and Clara in The Nutcracker, Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, the Black Swan pas de deux from Swan Lake, and the Diana and Acteon pas de deux. She has been a guest artist with BalletNEXT, Zikr Dance Ensemble, and Thomas Dance Project. Michaux received her training with Colorado Ballet Society in Colorado Springs and attended programs at San Francisco Ballet, Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theatre.  Emma joined Boulder Ballet in 2019.
