Everything you need to know about our end-of-year recital!

Spring 2022 Recital Order

       Dress Rehearsal:

  • We will not hold regular classes on Friday and Saturday, May 27 28, due to dress rehearsal and performances.
  • Dress Rehearsal for all shows will take place on Friday, May 27 in the Gordon Gamm Theater here at the Dairy. Please check the schedule to see your child’s dress rehearsal time. All students in the show must attend at the time assigned to them.
  • It is important for students to arrive at the dress rehearsal on time.
  • Students should be in their costumes, with make-up and hair done before rehearsal begins. Leave jewelry at home. Do not be late.
  • Each instructor has given or will give instructions by April 29 about costumes, make-up, and hair for the shows. If you do not have that information or you have questions, please talk to the instructor so you can get ready without stress.
  • It is important for you to review the attached schedule for rehearsal times.


  • Performances will run on Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, in the Gordon Gamm Theater.
  • Please review the attached schedule (also on our website) for the show date(s) and time for your child(ren)’s class.
  • Dancers in Creative Movement – level 2B, Boys Ballet 1, and Contemporary, should meet in the lobby 30 minutes before the show. Please arrive on time! Students will be led into the theater, and then parents can be seated in the theater. Only volunteers will be allowed backstage or in the studios. Dancers should arrive ready to perform!
  • Dancers in levels 3A and above who are performing in the 4:00 shows need to come 30 minutes before the show. They will either go backstage or to studio 2; we will have signs posted in both areas detailing where they should be.
  • Each class piece will be between 2-4 minutes.
  • After the dress rehearsal and the performance, please arrange a place in the lobby to meet your dancer. Parents will not be permitted to go backstage. Younger dancers will be brought to their parents after their performance. *If you want your dancer to sit with you in the theatre for the rest of the show, they must have a paid ticket to have a seat.


  • Individual recital photos will be taken Sunday, May 29. Stay tuned for more details on how to sign up.


  • Students in levels 3A and up, perform both days at the 4:00 pm shows.  Parents should purchase tickets according to your dancer’s last name:  A – L come on Saturday at 4:00; M – Z come on Sunday at 4:00. This does not pertain to Creative Movement, Pre-ballet, Levels 1A-2B, Contemporary or Boys Ballet.

Tickets are $15.00/adults; $10.00 students/seniors and are for reserved seating. If you would like to attend both 4:00 shows, you can purchase tickets for the second show for $7.00 each.

Volunteers needed! We are looking for volunteers to lend a hand with the 4:00 performances on May 28-29. These are our needs:

Backstage      3:30 – end of show    3 volunteers

*Please note: If you are assisting with a show, you will not be able to watch as you will be helping throughout that time.
