Kelsey Byrne is from Orange County, California, where she received most of her ballet training at the Orange County High School of the Arts. After high school, she attended Indiana University as a ballet major in the Jacobs School of Music. At IU, she had the opportunity to perform a variety of Balanchine works, namely The Four Temperaments, Western Symphony, Emeralds, and Swan Lake. In her time at Boulder Ballet, she has been thrilled to have the opportunity to perform Medora in Le Corsaire, Myrta in Giselle, the Sugar Plum Fairy and Clara in The Nutcracker as well as variety of inspiring roles in her directors’ original contemporary works. Kelsey joined Boulder Ballet in 2015.
