Kate Adams is a Boulder native who began dancing at Boulder Ballet at the age of three. While a student, she competed in YAGP and in the Denver Ballet Guild’s Young Dancers Competition where she received second place in 2010 and sixth place in 2014. Kate also received training at numerous summer intensives including The HARID Conservatory, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theater. Following high school, she attended the Conservatory program of the Atlanta Ballet, performing in the Snow and Flower corps with the Atlanta Ballet company in John McFall’s The Nutcracker. Favorite roles at Boulder Ballet include Dew Drop and Arabian in The Nutcracker, Wili in Giselle and Paul Taylor’s Airs. Kate joined Boulder Ballet as an Apprentice in 2016 and became a member of the Company in 2018.
