Boulder Ballet welcomes the 2022/2023 season that will highlight our versatility as a company and bring some exciting new works to the stage.
As you can see in our overview below, we have much to look forward to! Boulder Ballet is thrilled to offer Season Subscriptions again this year. Subscribers save 10% on individual tickets by purchasing a Season Subscription and will enjoy a full season with Boulder’s finest dancers.
September 24, 2022
As we leave summer behind, we’ll open the season with an exhilarating fall performance at Chautauqua Auditorium. This evening will feature the company premiere of a work by Twyla Tharp and new commissioned works by local artists. It promises to be an evening of works that are bold and contemporary, yet full of mesmerizing movements, uplifting music, and high-caliber choreography.

As always, Boulder Ballet is set on bringing the holiday spirit to Boulder’s Macky Auditorium with our performance of The Nutcracker. The Boulder Phil join us in bringing Tchaikovsky’s masterful score alive, to ensure a festive and family-friendly evening of joy.
February 23–26, 2022

Our winter, show New Moves, in February will feature a line-up of all-female choreographers that will present some exciting new works. This evening will bring a collection of shorter contemporary works to the stage that will give you a glimpse of a variety of choreographic voices.
May 18–21, 2022

We will enter spring with a story ballet in May, featuring a classic work that showcases our dancers’ superb technique This show will be thoroughly enjoyed by families and all those who love classical ballet. More information on what story we will be featuring will follow soon.
June 2–3, Huntington Bandshell, Boulder
June 4, Civic Green Park, Highlands Ranch
As the summer is about to start, we’ll take our performances outside for Ballet in the Park, a family-friendly performance that showcases excerpts from the season as well as ballet variations. Join us for this casual evening of dance at the Boulder Bandshell or in Highlands Ranch.
