For 20 years, Storybook Ballet has thrilled and inspired audiences of all ages with original productions of classic stories, danced by students of the Boulder Ballet School.

This year's Storybook Ballet reprises the 2005 production The Wizard of OZ with original music by Brian Golden.

BB2 - Junior Company

Consisting of the most advanced students of the Boulder Ballet School, BB2 demonstrates the depth and quality of their training in this performance. The concert will include group and solo works in both modern dance and ballet created especially for BB2 by professional choreographers, and excerpts from the classical repertoire. Inspiring for dancers of all ages!

Boulder Ballet School Showcase
May 28 & 29
Dairy Center for the Arts

The exciting end-of-year recital! Creative Movement through Level 1 perform in a mini-showcase at 2 PM, which also includes a special performance by the upper-level students to demonstrate the results of years of training. Levels 2 through 7 and Boys classes, including examples of Modern Dance, Character Dance and Pas de Deux, perform at 4 PM each day. The audience must be split between the two performances because the theater does not accomodate the full audience at once. Viewers with last names beginning with A -L attend Saturday. Viewers with last names beginning with M- Z attend Sunday.
