Dancers have been utilizing Pilates for cross training and injury rehabilitation since the 1920’s. Some of the many benefits of Pilates include muscle balance, core strength, improved flexibilty, increased strength and injury prevention. Our services at Body Dynamics include Pilates, Pilates reformer and Pilates mat classes, personal training, fitness classes, private yoga, physical therapy and massage. We offer 15% off our services to Boulder Ballet members.

Boulder Ballet has a professional affiliation with bodySpan Studio, which means that if you are a student or company member with Boulder Ballet you will receive a discount on private and semi-private sessions at bodySpan. bodySpan offers GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methodology, which is excellent cross training for dancers. Deborah McBride, a former dancer and owner of bodySpan, has completed GYROTONIC® Applications for Dancers and is authorized to teach this material. This work focuses on balancing strength and flexibility equally as well as injury prevention, and can also be effective in healing injuries.
