Conner Horak was born in Fort Collins, CO where he was introduced to dance through a synthesis of musical theater and martial arts training. He continued dancing at Butler University, graduating cum laude with a BFA in Dance Performance with departmental honors. While there he had the privilege of performing in Paul Taylor’s Le Sacre Du Printemps (The Rehearsal), Gorgio Arpino’s Viva Vivaldi, and George Balanchine’s Slaughter on Tenth Avenue. Conner danced with Wonderbound in Denver for three years and performed with them at the Vail Dance Festival. He has also danced with James Sewell Ballet, Zikr Dance Ensemble, Kim Robards Dance and worked with such choreographers as David Taylor, James Sewell, and Gabrielle Lamb. Conner joined Boulder Ballet in 2019.
